Team Nebraska Brooks Mission Statement: Team
Nebraska Brooks is a USA Track & Field Elite Development Club. The
club's mission is to provide post-collegiate, developing, and otherwise
competitive road and track racers opportunities to refine and advance
their skills in the field of long distance running.
Team Nebraska Brooks Goal: To be competitive in USA Track & Field's local, regional, national and international championships.
Membership: All members must have a current Nebraska Association USATF membership. www.usatf.org/membership
Team Nebraska Brooks is Club Number 150.
Description of Membership categories: A Standard Athletes:
Determined by meeting current USATF AADP standard times. See exhibit A for 2006-2007 standards

A Standard athletes receive support approved by club sponsors.
A Standard athletes will discuss individual and team racing goals with Club when planning seasons.
A Standard athletes will compete exclusively in Brooks shoes & Team Nebraska Brooks uniform.
B Standard Athletes: Nebraska
Association members that do not meet club A standards, and are approved by
President. B standard athletes will receive a package approved by
sponsors.
Exhibit C Receive
Team jacket, Shop Brooks account, Clif product discount, and waived entry
into some local events. B athletes are responsible for cost of uniform.
B
athletes are encouraged to compete in Brooks shoes but are not
mandated.
Honorary: Given to
Nebraskans who have made a significant contribution to the discipline
of long distance running, appointed by President.
Responsibilities of A and B Athletes: • To wear Team Nebraska Brooks uniform at all races. • To participate in Nebraska Assoc. & USATF National Championships as requested by President. • To race in events Club leadership designates as team competitions whenever possible. • Maintain contact with Club leadership regarding participation in races, including results. • Offer friendly support and encouragement to all team members. |
